Most of our rugs ship via FedEx (small parcel). FedEx will simply deliver the rug to your front door or inside to a business location. Typically, no signature is required, but if you do sign for the rug, you must be sure that there are no signs of damage. Accepting delivery with a signature releases FedEx of any responsibility of damage that may have occurred in transit.
Our larger rugs, measuring 12' x 9' and up, and bulk orders, must ship via LTL (freight line). Freight line deliveries are always curbside deliveries. If requested in advance, we can inquire with the carrier about inside delivery service. If that service is available in your area, an additional fee will apply. Usually the inside delivery fee is $100.00. Freight deliveries typically will require a contact phone number in order to deliver. They usually call the delivery location to ensure that the receiver will be available to unload and sign for the freight.
No matter who delivers your rug, it is important to inspect each item for signs of damage. Damage should be noted at the time of delivery. If damage is not noted and the delivery refused, we can not file a claim and replace the damaged merchandise.
