Member Better Business Bureau: A+ rating. We have been a member since 2001 and we have NEVER had a complaint. If you click on the logo below it will bring up the web page at the BBB that has more information about us. Under "BBB Accreditation" it says that we have been accredited since 2014. But that is only because we changed from the BBB in Cincinnati to the BBB in Florida. You have to read further down to see that we have actually been accredited since 2001. We don't know why they make it so misleading. None the less, we have been accredited since 2001 and we have never had a complaint filed against us.

How good is the quality of KidCarpet.com carpet and rugs?
Some “big box” retailers offer “rugs” with children’s designs that are really just very thin, cheap mats. Our kid’s carpets and classroom rugs are much higher quality.
Our nylon carpets/rugs are similar in thickness and feel to the carpet most people have in their home (cut pile carpet), except that they are strong enough to be used in a commercial setting (such as movie theaters, hotels or airports). These are the most durable and stain resistant children's carpets and area rugs in the industry.
Our mill has the newest and most advanced printing machine in the industry. Other carpet mills that supply the educational/kids market print their rugs at 256 dpi (dots per inch). Our printer prints at 625 dpi. This means that we can print images much more clearly and that we can design our rugs with many more elements that have small details.

A note about the colors we use: You may notice that we do not use as much yellow or other light colors as the other suppliers of kids’ rugs. This is because we know from experience that yellow will begin to look dirty far more quickly than darker colors (no matter who makes the rug or how it is dyed).

Lifetime Abrasive Wear Warranty:
KidCarpet.com is the industry leader in high quality carpet and rugs for children. We guarantee that your rug will not wear more than 10% by abrasion throughout its lifetime. If it were to wear more than 10%, KidCarpet.com agrees to replace the rug subject to a usage schedule. If the same rug is not available at the time of replacement, you may choose another rug design from our web site.
Damage caused by tears, spills, pets, cuts, piling, matting, crushing, burns and improper maintenance are not manufacturing defects and are excluded. We require the original invoice or sales receipt as proof that you were the original purchaser of the rug. This warranty is nontransferable.
Serge Warranty:
Serging is the thread that is sewn around the edges of our rugs to give them a decorative finish (as opposed to loose carpet ends). The serged edges of our rugs are made to withstand the rigors of children’s environments. Unfortunately, however, it can still be damaged. Damage can result from many things, such as: cutting it with a sharp edge during opening, some types of abrasive cleaning equipment, children picking at it, etc. Therefore, our warranty on the serging is as follows: Customers can ship the rug to us at their expense (usually about $20 to $70, depending on the size). We will then repair the serging for free. We will then ship the rug back to you for free. Care must be taken not to vacuum over the serging. If you prefer, it is suggested that repairs be made using a hot glue gun at the first sign of fraying. This will prevent the serging from fraying further. Please refer to the "What You Need to Know Before You Buy" page for more details about the serging warranty.

It's been a year since I received the rug, and I just wanted to drop you a quick note to let you know what a wonderful addition your carpet has been to my classroom. Hello, We just purchased the 6x8 Outer Space Rug and I wanted to comment on our experience with your company.
First and most importantly, I spoke with the same woman twice, once last week and once this morning (Feb. 13). She was extremely helpful, articulate and polite: Everything that is desired but uncommon in today's world of robots, outsourcing and elevator music waiting lines. Since your market is competitive she deserves much of the credit for your sale and your highest accolades.
Second, your willingness to ship out samples was key in our decision to buy. Reading descriptions or seeing pictures or even feeling samples hung on a rack do not do the product justice. I'd never have believed the rug could be comfortable, but, laying it on the wood floor I am easily able to kneel without discomfort. I wanted a flat rug that would be cozy, comfy, attractive and importantly PLAYABLE for the boys. I had them build puzzles on it, drive cars on it, make block towers on it, etc... I was even taking notes on a single sheet of paper using a ball point pen this morning while I talked with your exemplary customer service woman.

Hi, I just wanted to let you know how much we are enjoying our rug. We purchased the rug 5 years ago, when our first daughter was born. We ordered a Kid Carpet for our 5-year-old son, Sam. It's the baseball diamond carpet, which we put in his room. He loved it from the moment he saw it. To our surprise, he used the carpet to play make-believe baseball games with his toys and dolls. His teddy bears sat on his bed "watching" the game from the "bleachers." I purchased a KidCarpet for my twin boys’ nursery. I was very impressed by how vibrant and cheerful it made the room.
